  1. Yumthang Valley- Yumthang Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of Flowers, is one of those extreme places in Sikkim that can only be reached during certain times of the year. Situated at a lofty height of 3564 m. above sea level. This Scenic valley is guarded by the towering Himalayas and can only be visited between the months of April to November.
    Home to the flourishing Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, the Yumthang Valley Tour is also a paradise for naturalists, botanists, and environmentalists as well. Though it takes almost two days to reach this gorgeous valley but visibility decreases during the evening due to heavy fog.
  2. Zero Point- Beautifully wrapped in the pearl white snow-covered valley, the zero point or the Yumesamdong is the last exclave, located around 15,300 feet above the mean sea level. The Scenic and serene valley is accompanied by the whistles of the blowing wind. Making you rethink the purpose of your life this majestic valley will evoke all your senses.
    The Proximity to the Indo-China border will only let the Indian national’s entry inside Sikkim after acquiring the Protecting Area Permit (PAP) from the District Administrative Centre at Mangaonor from the Gangtok Tourism office but the foreign national’s entry is strictly restricted inside Sikkim.
  3. Lachen- Embraced in the North Sikkim region, Lachen is home to the stunning second highest lake i.e., Gurudongmar Lake. Owing to the close proximity with the neighboring countries one needs to obtain a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) before visiting the place.
    The Annual Yak race called ‘Thangu’ is the most remarkable thing about the Lachen tour. The Tourists visiting Sikkim must jot down this point to their itinerary because the Yak race is not a usual thing to sight anywhere else in India.

A Three-day vibrant music festival is very popular here as the bands from neighboring countries come and participate here with full robustness and experience the festival in an enthralling and tranquil nature.
  8. Dzongu- Being the official home to the indigenous Lepcha population, Dzongu comes under some of the rare extreme places in Sikkim. Bounded by the gurgling Teesta river, Thoulun Chu river, and some of the Himalayan peaks.
