Day 01: Siliguri/Bagdogra to Darjeeling (98 Km./ 3 hrs):
Arrive at Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station. A warm welcome by our travel agent and depart to Darjeeling . It is nearly 110 kms away and is at an altitude of 7700ft. It takes nearly three and a half hours in a Volvo or a taxi to enter this scenic hill town. Check in the hotel. Leisurely enjoy the magnificent beauty in the evening overlooking the magnificent Himalayan range. Relax and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing:
Before sunrise at around 4 am depart for Tiger Hill . Here you will see the overwhelming and spectacular sunrise when the golden rays of sun brush the Kanchanjunga Peak and fill the whole range with its golden ambience . Enroute visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia loop which is a War Memorial for the Gorkha Soldiers. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Get ready to go to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Proceed to the Himalayan Zoo. Visit the world famous Japanese Temple. Surrounded by tea gardens and the Himalayan range you will experience peace and tranquillity. Proceed to the Rock garden. You can also explore Gangamaiya Park as and visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre. visit Botanical Garden and see rare variety of flora.
Day 03: Darjeeling to Pelling (Pemayangtse) Via - Melli - Jorthang (110 km / 5 hrs):
After breakfast we will proceed to Pelling in West Sikkim. The journey runs through the winding road cutting across the valleys, hills and villages and follows the course of Tista River and then beautiful Rangit River till Legship. We will take a refreshing break at the view point near Melli to watch the magnificent confluence of Rangit & Teesta rivers. From Legship the road takes a steep turn upto Geyzing. The view of the entire surrounding widens as you precede towards Pelling a small tourist hub in the West Sikkim hills known for serene holy lakes, old Monasteries and pristine landscape. Pelling sprawled at 6100ft (1830M) offers one of the spectacular views of the Mount Khangchendzonga, the Guardian Deity of Sikkim and the worlds third highest mountain along with other mountains of the range. Pelling is an ideal getaway for tourists as its vicinity has numerous waterfalls, small trek routes, villages and beautiful landscape. Night stay at Pelling.
Day 04: Pelling to Gangtok (120 km./ 5 hrs) :
After breakfast proceed to Gangtok (5,480 ft.), Gagtok is the capital of sikkim and most beutiful place of North East India. On arrival check in to hotel. In evening strolling on famous M.G. Market. Back to hotel night stay at Gangtok.
Day 05: Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir - Nathula Pass:
After breakfast drive for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), one of the highest altitudes Himalayan Lake. This beautiful oval shape lake almost 1 km long with its average depth 50 ft is situated in east Sikkim Himalaya. From here we will drive further 15 km to Baba Mandir. One can further drive to Nathula pass (12,000ft.) towards china border depending upon the accessibility of the route. We will back to Gangtok by late afternoon. Evening is free for roaming around M.G Marg, the popular Shopping area in Gangtok.
Day 06: Gangtok to Siliguri railway station/Baghdogra Airport:
Depart to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station for onward destination.
